What
began as a Tim Buckley page
founded in the early 1990s by Carol Mariconda - who was also the original
list manager of the Jeff Buckley mailing list - has evolved into what is now today
known as The Tim Buckley Archives. In
1995 the site was passed onto the enigmatic Johnny Walker Black, who in turn passed
it on to Yale university student Suzanne Bodoin. While
at Yale, Suzanne - a self-professed insomniac - expanded the site into the entity
now recognizable as the Tim Buckley Archives, and continued to run it for a few
years after graduation The
Estate of Tim Buckley took over the site in 2008 and is in the process of adding
items from their own archives, many of which had never been accessible before. If
anyone knows how to contact Carol, Johnny and Suzanne, please contact
us. Ms Bodoin is believed to be working abroad for the US State Department,
possibly in Russia. A
huge thank you to Jack Brolly, who did a tremendous amount of interview work for
the various incarnations of his website - Room
109 and for allowing us to use them here. The
Estate owes an untold amount to those who began the Archives and who devoted so
much personal time and effort to keep the name and works of Tim Buckley in the
public eye.
Thank
You
Judy
