As part of an upcoming exhibition at the Steven Kasher Gallery in New York, two pictures of Tim Buckley will be on display.

One picture by Elliott Landy - which can be seen here on our website - shows Tim at Max's with Andy Warhol and Janis Joplin.The second - shown below - is by Lily Hou.

Both artists have multiple images in the show, called Max's Kansas City: Art, Glamour, Rock and Roll. The exhibit will mark the release by publishing house Abrams Image of a book by the same name, edited by Steven Kasher.

The exhibit will run September 15th through October 9th. It will feature over 150 vintage and limited edition photographs, and monumental sculptures and paintings by the inner circle of Max's artists, including John Chamberlain, Forrest Myers, Larry Zox, Neil Williams, and Andy Warhol. A highlight will be Myers's recreation of his famous laser/jukebox installation.
