Ha-Buah (2006) (English title The Bubble)
Written and directed by Eytan Fox.
 
This Israeli movie looks at young people's lives in Tel Aviv through the POVs of gays and straights, Jews and Arabs, men and women. The Bubble won six awards at various international gay and lesbian film festivals.

A poet (Ledger) falls in love with an art student (Cornish) who gravitates to his bohemian lifestyle - and his love of heroin. Candy was named best screenplay by the Australia Film Institute and was nominated in seven other categories.
