A Celebration Of Tim Buckley

Royal Festival Hall, London - 2001

Greetings From Tim Buckley promoter Hal Willner held a similar event in London, September 26, 2001 at the Royal Festival Hall - the heart of the Southbank Center complex - as part of a week-long festival called The Song's The Thing.

Featuring artistes such as Badly Drawn Boy, Embrace, Relish, bassist Danny Thompson, Jane Siberry and Mercury nominee Susheela Raman, the 2,900 seat venue was a sellout.

Tim Buckley Tribute

Cockpit Theater, London - 2008

On May 10, 2008, London-based promoter Jay Dubber organized a Tim Buckley tribute concert held at the Cockpit Theater in Westminster.

The sold-out event saw several English singer-songwriters first tackle a couple of Buckley songs along with an original tune. Some read letters and poems from those closest to Tim.
